Between Showers is a short film by CLAP! Collectif featuring Vacuum Sukker and Rose in the intimacy of her bathroom. Two mirrored moments, two sexual encounters, filmed one year apart. Between these fragments, the film embraces non-linear transitions and the fluidity of identities and desires. Water flows with the bodies, revealing an intimacy that is not performed, but felt across years.

What if Magritte’s paintings came to life? In this short film, Franck de B transposes the Belgian surrealist universe into a playful and erotic experience. Set to music by the surrealist composer André Souris, the frozen objects of the paintings seem to breathe, animate, and reveal their emotional charge and true nature: the pipe truly becomes a pipe, despite being famously declared otherwise, the rose turns into a metaphor, and much more. With subtle humor and a bold visual poetry, Franck de B—an heir to a tradition of “Belgitude” oscillating between surrealism and pornography—creates a world where body, desire, and art intersect in a mix of suggestion and explicitness. Brief yet dense, funny and inventive, the film questions the boundary between reality and painting, the visible and the imagined.

In this whimsical and sensual world, the Moon and a Little Vampire share a love story as intoxicating as it is impossible. The Moon petrifies with sorrow at the vast distance separating her from her beloved. The Little Vampire is then faced with a fateful choice : renounce his immortal soul to join his lover for one single night.
